Nobody knows what happened to this boy. He was found lying on a pile of concrete, covered in maggot-filled wounds, and it’s unknown what he endured. Most likely, he was another victim of the dog fighters at only eight months old. He was immediately picked up (thanks to Omar Samy) and taken to the vet.
Axel has now recovered and turned into a lovely, happy boy. He travelled to his forever home in the UK in December 2024.
