Deseri was just eight weeks old when she was thrown into the desert.
No mum to guide her, no litter mates to play with, no family to provide food!
What on earth would make someone want to abandon this little girl like this?
Was it because she had scabies? Was she not as pretty as the others? Was she smaller than the others?
Who knows what goes on inside these peoples minds.
She found shelter in a derelict building because the street dogs were attacking her. Can you imagine how terrified she must have been?
The nights get cold in the Egyptian winter, and there is also no life where she was found, other than the street dogs. How cold and frightened she must of been hearing the street dogs bark, and trying to hide herself for safety. It’s surprising she is even alive, and thankfully they didn’t puncture her lungs or stomach when she was bitten 
The positive out of all of this is is that she’s only a baby, so she didn’t experience years of neglect and abuse like some of the others.
