Lucky

October 2024

Lucky was thrown out onto the street by her owner, probably after her tumour began to grow. It was clear from her condition that she hadn’t eaten properly in a while. The pictures don’t show just how skinny she was. She also had muscle wastage, making it difficult for her to walk.

She was a very scared girl, and wary of new people.

Her mammary tumour was removed, and she was spayed at the same time. It was also found that she had TVT, a type of cancer, and now that her stitches have been removed, she’s undergoing chemotherapy for this.

Lucky’s lovely nature is beginning to show, although not with cats! She’s sweet and gentle with humand and other dogs.

We’re hoping that following chemo, Lucky will make a quick recovery and live a long, healthy life.
